Welcome to Thanet Gymnastics!

We are delighted that your child is joining our community. We pride ourselves on providing safe, nurturing, diverse and inclusive recreational gymnastics sessions where children can learn new skills, make friends, have fun and build confidence. Our sessions are led by a fully qualified team of British Gymnastics coaches.

Two Steps to Complete Before the Third Session

Your child may attend a maximum of two trial sessions. Both steps below must be fully completed before the third session — without both registrations, your child will not be eligible to take part.

Step 1

Complete British Gymnastics Membership

When completing the registration please ensure you complete the details below:

The Cost: £26 per year, payable at checkout

This membership includes essential insurance cover.

Step 2

Complete Thrive4 Registration

When completing the registration please ensure you complete the details below:

Create your account in the responsible adults name

Choose your child’s class

Set up a Direct Debit for monthly payments

Subscription is calculated across 47 teaching weeks per year

GYMNASTS CODE OF CONDUCT

Arrival: Gymnasts should arrive on time and dressed suitably. If 10 minutes or more late, they cannot join for safety reasons.
Jewellery: No jewellery in the gym. Piercings must be covered — parent/gymnast responsibility.
Safety: Always follow coach instructions.
Equipment: Never use equipment unless a coach has said so.
Behaviour: Good standards expected at all times.
Concerns: Speak to the session coach or welfare officer.
Dress Code: Leotard for girls; leotard and shorts for boys. Fitted shorts and close-fitting T-shirts are also fine.
Hair: Long hair must be tied back.

Parents CODE OF CONDUCT

Arrival: Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class — building access only at this time.
Clothing: Ensure child is dressed appropriately (leotard, fitted shorts/leggings).
Uniform: Please order club uniform within 6 weeks of joining.
Payments: Direct Debit due on the 2nd of each month.
Hair & Piercings: Hair tied back; piercings covered before arrival.
Registration: Complete both registrations before the 3rd session.
Enquiries: Please put queries in writing — use our post box or email.
Parking: Please be considerate — don't block driveways. Use car parks where possible.
